Hi there! Just became a new member, I say that but I actually signed up more than a month ago. Kinda been working up the nerve to even just say hi yet alone anything else, lol. But here I am 🙂 I guess I’m here to chat with like minded people, gain a bit more understanding, and generally be more comfortable being me. Easier said than done, right? Look forward to speaking to you all 🙂

If you look in Social -> Member Directory, you can search for other people that may be near by. Or under Places -> Local Places, you can search for all sorts of things that may be near you. Happy that you found us! I’m sure that what you describe has happened to others here. It is sort of an Approach/Avoidance conflict. We know it is something that we should do, but it is hard to break through the barrier.
Anyway, we work hard to keep this a peaceful place so that people can do what they need to do. I will never say that it will be easy for you, but it is a very important journey.
