Epictetus was a Greek philosopher who taught on the isles off the coast, and is one of the most influential of the Stoic philosophers.

 

He is known for his “to the point” style. The Art of Living is a digestible size volume, and provides a firm framework to model one’s character.

 

I am what I would call, an informed beginner,  lol.

 

Seriously, I highly recommend it to anyone.
