So, where to start. I’m 46 years old and a guy. Growing up I did the normal boy things. It wasn’t untill I started getting onto adult BBS systems later that I firgured some things out about myself.

 

During those teenage years, I did the normal porn watching because thats what people had in  this area. But I always had thoughts about me being female in these movies. Lets skip a bunch of normalish life years. i find that who I have sex with does not matter, male or female. I like to dress up (in orivate as I am shy and quiet person in real life). Only one other person even knows about any of this.

 

Over the past year and a half I have been thining of doing some type of hormone treatment to help me feel more, well. How I want to feel. But being the shy and quiet type, I find it hard to even bring up the subject where I live (let’s call it a semi-redneck town in East Texas). I plan on moving to Austin TX later this year to start this process.

 

I don’t know how far I will go yet, or if it’s healthy for me to (I have some other health issues that might be an issue).

You don’t mention whether you are seeing a gender counselor, but we highly recommend going that route before starting HRT and we definitely recommend working through an endocrinologist for monitoring  blood chemistry and figuring out healthy prescriptions for you if you do start.
