Identity Health Clinic provides trauma-informed, evidence-based healthcare to meet the wellness needs of Alaska’s LGBTQ+ community. This clinic expands Identity’s programs that uplift the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ communities of Alaska. We currently accept Medicaid, Medicare, Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield, VA Choice, Self Pay patients and any insurance we are not in network negotiations with. We focus on gender affirming care, PrEP, STI counseling and treatment, primary care and psychotropic medication management. With over 20 years in the field of behavioral health and addictions, my goal is to help you achieve balance and well-being at your pace. My specialty is working with transgender individuals, spiritual connections with a lifestyle of recovery. I believe that everyone has the right to express their authentic self and reach their full potential as human beings. I provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults who are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, crisis, trauma utilizing relaxation techniques, stress management, spirituality or other challenges of daily living. Master’s degree in counseling psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies and a doctorate degree from Alaska Pacific University. I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Sensorimotor, Hypnotherapy, and drama and art therapy. I am certified in psychedelic assisted treatment.
