Shannon is now the proud co-parent of Compass Barbershop, and specializes in both women and men’s services including hair cutting and color, as well as facial waxing. The Montana Gender Alliance, a cornerstone of the Gender Expansion Project community outreach programs, is a collective network of individuals of gender diversity, their families, and their allies. We provide a safe space for support and discussion of topics in which often surround the gender diverse spectrum. We provide support in a wide variety of ways; through discussion, through collective events, and through direct support. The Gender Alliance meets on Saturdays in the mid-afternoon – mid-evening depending on location The groups are somewhat casual, attendance is not mandatory, and topics of discussion are determined by the group of individuals in Open Listing

Brie has been dedicated to the field of Wilderness Therapy since her first role as a field guide in 2008. With her BA in Psychology completed in upstate NY, she moved to Missoula, MT to attain her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montana. She has worked as both a guide and a licensed individual and family therapist for Missoula’s own wilderness therapy program since 2013. Brie never travels far without her best friend Woofer – a certified therapy dog who particularly enjoys rivers and relationships that she develops with the trips’ participants.
