Didn't come fully to grips with who I need to be till almost 70 yo. Now I feel too old to transition but managed an orchi on the company dime just before retiring in 2018. I,m comfortable now presenting as a girly male all the time, no closet. Haven't shopped the men's dept. in several years. Don't wear manly shoes except for working in the yard or on the car. I don't see a female in the mirror each day, just the old wrinkly person I'm accustomed to. However, I'm ma'amed on a regular basis and have been mis-gendered at close range more than seems reasonable. My best depressed buddy( I've been depressed most of my life), Sheila (cis-gender female,wife's college friend) swears that I look feminine and that I need to expect to be seen as a woman. Don't really know where I'm going but I'll try to enjoy it. I know it'll be better in pumps and lipstick!
