Hey y’all. I (in)formally have chosen to go by Kassie, or Kass, and lately groove to being called Kiki. Cass is shorthand for part of my longerish birth name; it was one of my nicknames growing up (which in itself led me to dream of another life.. ya know, born a Kassandra). One of my gfriends started calling me Kiki instead of Kassie and instant vibes with that. Definitely wants to share with someone why I feel that way and see if I’m normal lol I’m curious, for those MtF, do you care what you name you go by / went by? Lately feels like I’m far too occasionally tied up with labels, titles, and ‘passing’ rather than being comfortable with myself; name and voice and looks and whatnot... I’ll get into why I have no confidence another time lol Soo basically, I’m here for the fundamentals; I’m the basic nerdy introvert that just wants to be strong and independent and transition but wooof... No concrete plans on transitioning as far as 2020 is going. 2021 maybe? ...2022? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sadly it’s been a pattern of both potential and disappointment . Still have to initiate some coming out of the closet appointments, so yikes. Feel free to help me with that fundamental first... If no one jumps in line to unravel awkward realizations together, help me and I’ll overnight ship you my homemade double-fudge cookie pie or something! I’m hoping to meet someone here with ohh so many sage facets; that’s willing to drop their entire life story on me; inspire, guide, then dissociate my rather atypical fear of being accepted. Also truly, want to see how normal/not normal I am. Truly, truly, any help at all on coming out trans is needed!
