Thank you to my TGH friends and family

Simple acts of kindness and encouragement. Sometimes real life brings you back down to earth where you touch grass as they say. Let me step back a bit. This last 12 months has been incredibly difficult. Being let go in a reduction in force. A job search that fortunately was short. Helping parents empty a century of generational accumulation "stuff" on a productive farm. Watching from afar as a very young nephew conquered a rare cancer. Moms decline into dementia. Dad's diagnosis of a form of pancreatic cancer. A ridiculously US election season. But, most profoundly to me, the loss of my hero. The only blood who steadfastly stood by me through transition. A funeral where relatives who have vowed to eliminate "the freaks" as they call us. The only solace is they had no clue who I was. I'll be numb this Holiday season without my dad to lean on. Yet, there comes a moment when I least expected it. Friends reaching out to let me know they're thinking about me. So I say THANK YOU, TGH Ambassadors and members for brightening my day and reminding me that Thanks Giving season is upon us. May you all be doubly blessed for simply being kind. Cloe

Not quite full on southern girl who loves being classy and is spiritual, but knows how to have fun of which being sassy with a heart is part. I really love interacting with people and deeply care for everyone on the trans spectrum. I began living my authentic life full time June, 8 2018 and as of late 2020 am finally able to explore the surgical phase of my journey. I'm a WV Hillbillie through and through, but find myself a stranger in a strange land just doing my best to be me.

Dear, Cloe what a lovely arraignment of flowers so pretty! Life can be such a struggle.
As the sun rises in the east and the day breaks all we can do is put one foot in front of the other and take on the challenges that life throws at us. You are in my thoughts.
Hugs Barbra

As they say; when life gives us lemons, we make lemonade. And the best I can tell, you make the best tastiest lemonade. Here’s to big hugs Cloe.
