I see my work primarily as a guide, helping my clients find their own answers and their own happiness.I view therapy as a way to gain self awareness in order to understand one’s pattern of relating to others and dealing with life’s challenges.
I particularly use cognitive therapy to help clients understand how beliefs about themselves may be distorted and how early experiences with signifcant others have contributed to their self view and self esteem.My specialities include, but are not limited to; couples, individual, relationship,intimacy,anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders.
As a therapist I integrate a range of perspectives into the work, centered around a collaborative style. For some clients, therapy focuses on external factors such as adjustment to current life situations and for others, the work of therapy is an intrapersonal process centering on emotional regulation or coping strategies.
