San Juan Regional Medical Center is a community owned and operated hospital located in the beautiful San Juan River Valley in northwest New Mexico. A non-profit hospital serving the Four Corners area of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah, we have a rich heritage dating back to before New Mexico was a state. In 1910, two physicians, Dr. G.W. Sammons and Dr. A.M. Smith, saw a community need for quality healthcare close to home. Ashlee N. Owens, LCSW provides trauma-informed service to help clients heal, grow, and break down barriers to change.  Therapy is client-centered and provided at a safe and comfortable pace. Dr. Michele Boberg, a Ball State University graduate, began to provide counseling services at Associates in Behavioral Counseling in 2003 and is a co-owner of the practice. Prior to ABC, she provided therapy services to non-profit organizations for 15 years. As the clinic grew, other behavioral health providers with various professional degrees, licenses, and specialties joined the practice to provide a wide range of counseling services. Currently the combined years of professional experience and knowledge is well over 100 years. First Choice Community Healthcare is a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system with nine health centers in three counties, including one school-based health center.
