My practice is primarily focused on providing affirmative care for those who are exploring their gender identity – across the lifespan and along the gender spectrum. If you are seeking support around issues of gender identity, I will provide you with a supportive relationship – without expectation, agenda or judgment – within which to explore whatever questions you may be asking. My role in this process is not to define your identity for you, but to provide the space within which you can do that for yourself. Ashlee N. Owens, LCSW provides trauma-informed service to help clients heal, grow, and break down barriers to change.  Therapy is client-centered and provided at a safe and comfortable pace. Treatment goals include ongoing client input and focus on a strengths perspective. Dr. Michele Boberg, a Ball State University graduate, began to provide counseling services at Associates in Behavioral Counseling in 2003 and is a co-owner of the practice. Prior to ABC, she provided therapy services to non-profit organizations for 15 years. As the clinic grew, other behavioral health providers with various professional degrees, licenses, and specialties joined the practice to provide a wide range of counseling services. Currently the combined years of professional experience and knowledge is well over 100 years. First Choice Community Healthcare is a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system with nine health centers in three counties, including one school-based health center.
