The Turner Syndrome Society of the United States (TSSUS) is a national non-profit organization serving the important and diverse needs of the Turner syndrome community. The Society was created in 1987 by a group of women in Minnesota for the purpose of networking and support. Today we have over 600 members and 100+ volunteers supporting our valuable programs. We work with people across Sydney and New South Wales who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender diverse, non-binary, intersex, questioning, queer, asexual and more (LGBTIQA+) people and others of diverse genders and sexualities, their families and communities. We are a Sydney based service working across New South Wales, providing a broad range of specialised services for young people 12-25 including housing, mental health, counselling and social support. For adults we provide social support and for people of all ages we offer telephone support and webchat as the NSW provider for the national QLife project. UCSF’s Center of Excellence for Transgender Health (Trans CoE) was founded in 2009 with a mission to increase access to comprehensive, effective, and affirming health care services for transgender and gender diverse communities. The Transgender CoE’s goal is to improve the overall health and well-being of transgender individuals by developing and implementing programs in response to community-identified needs. The Transgender CoE actively engages a national advisory board of transgender leaders from throughout the country. We provide free support for veterans and their families, including a helpline, Veterans Welfare Service, Defence Transition Services and injury/bereavement compensation scheme payments. We also provide welfare support for veterans of any age, and their families through the Veterans Welfare Service and the Veterans UK helpline: 0808 1914 218. We provide compensation, pension and welfare support to serving personnel and veterans and facilitate access to appropriate support from other government departments, local authorities, independent bodies and the charity sector.
