We take pride in our unique water safety program. Our philosophy is that children progress at their individual level of learning and readiness. We believe that each child can learn to love and respect the water. Through stimulation, positive reinforcement, patience, and practice students master new skills while having fun. Each of our instructors takes pride in our program, turning a basic intuitive response into a life-saving skill. They are competent in the latest aquatic techniques with an emphasis on gentle encouragement. Certified in the Children of the Sea Water Safety Program, trained in accordance to the USSA Code of Open Listing
I am a classically trained operatic soprano but don’t let that scare you. I believe in tailoring what we do to the needs of each student. If music isn’t fun, we are doing something wrong. From a musical family, I began singing in public at the age of 3. Piano and guitar began somewhere between the ages of 5 and 6. Serious vocal study began when I was 9. I love almost all styles of music. Opera is, of course, at the top of the list, followed very closely by showtunes. Then comes pop, rock, folk, some country, and I’m Open Listing

Lessons: Richard Wylie has extensive experience teaching many different forms and styles of guitar. He currently instructs at Rainbow Music and the Music Mart in State College, PA. Richard integrates his rock, jazz, and classical background to provide personal and insightful instruction to students at all levels. DJ/Performance: Richard can provide DJ services or solo guitar and DJ packages to enhance your next event, wedding or private party. His unique musical background can cater to your personal entertainment preference. He has performed extensively in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. as well as over 15 years of experience in Open Listing
You don’t have to look like a dancer to feel like one. Here at the Viscount, we support real dancing for real people. In this noncompetitive, no-judgement environment, dancers create community the minute the music starts playing, and the minute you start moving to music, you become a dancer. Our classes start with the importance of understanding the present and historical context of the dances we teach, and giving credit to the people/cultures who created them. We love exploring and talking about the evolution of dance, and how dance has changed, and is changing still…and we want to be a Open Listing
