Center for Gender and Sexual Minority Health

The Center for Gender and Sexual Minority Health is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) individuals through clinical practice, research, education and community outreach.

The Center sponsors and supports the TEAM Clinic, UMMC’s holistic and patient-centered health clinic for the LGBTQ population. TEAM is an acronym – Trustworthy, Evidence-based, Affirming, and Multidisciplinary. The clinic meets on the first Friday afternoon of each month at University Physicians at Riverchase, 2550 Flowood Drive, Flowood, MS 39232.
