Christina Vento, PSYD, ABMP MACP Albuquerque Indian Health Center

Dr. Vento is an experienced clinical psychologist who returned to school for a post-doctoral Master’s degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology from New Mexico State University. She is licensed by the State of New Mexico to prescribe behavioral health medications in collaboration with patient’s primary care practitioner and has been prescribing since 2008. Trained first as a therapist she comes to the treatment relationship from a position of respect for patients, shared values, and collaborative decision making regarding treatment options. You will need to have an active relationship including regular visits with a licensed primary care provider (MD/DO, NP or PA) within the last 18 months.

Currently, Dr. Vento practices full time at the Albuquerque Indian Health Center where her patient population is limited to enrolled Native Americans.
