Columbus Distributing was established by the Jenkins family at the repeal of prohibition in 1933. Paul Jenkins Jr. is the president and Jeffrey Jenkins is the vice president, representing the fourth generation of the family in the business. The company is a wholesale beverage distributor representing Anheuser-Busch, Yuengling, Alaskan Brewing Co, Land-Grant Brewing, Breckenridge, Commonhouse Ales, Devils Backbone, Elevator, Elysian, Golden Road, Goose Island, Stella Artois, and many other craft and import brands in Franklin, Marion, Morrow, Union, and Delaware counties.
