PFLAG is best known for local support groups, and they remain the heart of PFLAG’s work in communities. Particularly in rural states, PFLAG is often the only source of information about homosexuality and gender identity, and the only regular support for those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender or care about someone who is. As an organization that believes that change happens on the grassroots level in local communities, it is PFLAG’s top priority to support the work of local affiliates.
We meet on the third Sunday of every month, unless otherwise noted, at First Lutheran Church in Downtown Louisville from 3:00 until 5:00 in the afternoon. First Lutheran Church is near the corner of Broadway and Preston and there is free parking in a lot next to the church.
