The things that we truly possess are our thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions which in turn form what we understand to be our reality.
One of the most powerful things we can do in our lives is to be able to be our true selves. To be able to understand, know and accept who and what we are. To fully love every nuance and cell in our being with a sense of divinity that runs through all life and nature. We are nature, we are divinity and it is us.
It runs through our veins and resonates throughout every molecule that we are made of. Carbon, Oxygen, and Hydrogen are the elements that are in life on this planet.
When we are able to shed the outer shell that society has coated us with from infancy, to break through the haze of illusion that attempts to conceal who we are, we can begin to learn just how beautiful we are. How perfect we are and how we are all connected in the most amazing ways. How perfect nature is.
Nature is such a wonderful thing. It needs no assistance from mankind to continue as it has done for eternity. Yet some believe it should be tamed and controlled, and I am not just talking about plant life here.
We are now encouraged to reduce our carbon footprint and eliminate carbon emissions, does that mean reducing or eliminating what we are?
We are made of the same fabric as plants and all life. We have already seen how wildlife and nature have been destroyed in our lifetime, under the facade of industrial and technological development called progress! Are we too on that list?
So, I return to the point of being your true self. Once understanding and knowing are learned, you can show the world your inner self, be proud, be confident, and strong in yourself. To have a love for yourself and all others, to know we are all family. That life is eternal and not to fear death.
The universe can open itself to you and reveal the beauty and magic of this world. We can know how blessed we are to live in this physical form, gifted with our senses and able to experience life in its fullness if we allow ourselves to open up to it.
It is our purpose to learn through our life experiences and feed them back into the field of universal consciousness, in the ever-flowing continuum of the universe that we are interconnected with.
With such understandings, there would be no need for wars, division, hatred, starvation, or aggression. To hurt another would be to hurt oneself.
We have the power to change ourselves and what we create as our future lives. Let this be the best we can bring to the world and exist in harmony and happiness, in tune with nature like the biggest orchestra in the universe, playing the sweetest of sounds perfectly attuned to life.

Sophie Thanks for sharing this wisdom, this is in-fact my first browse on here and my first read. I sometimes feel isolated in my small town, pretty much limited in getting out and so a good friend suggested I tried this site. “The universe can open itself to you and reveal the beauty and magic of this world. We can know how blessed we are to live in this physical form, gifted with our senses and able to experience life in its fullness if we allow ourselves to open up to it.” I really found truth in this paragraph, there… Read more »

A very good article and well said. Mostly some people don’t see it that way, but I do and understand. Thanks for your article. Vicky
Dear Vicky, Thank you for taking time to post a comment here, it is most welcome and appreciated, no matter whether you are in agreement or not. My point always, is to offer a personal perspective and understanding from my own life experiences that may be of value and help to others. The fact that you do get the essence of my writing is wonderful. We can improve our lives through knowledge and understanding and being open minded. Life can be so simple that we find it hard to see it! We NEVER STOP learning throughout our whole life. I… Read more »
March 31st is “TDOV”, just in case you don’t know what that means, it’s “Trans Day of Visibility”, also known as the International Transgender Day of Visibility. I announced myself at work as being trans MTF a month ago and the response has been absolutely amazing and very emotional. I have never, ever, experienced so much admiration, acknowledgement and affirmation. It has been a very overwhelming but joyful time for me. I have been planning on transitioning at work and have the full support and backing from those in management where I work, so March 31st is going to be… Read more »
Hi Sophie was getting a little concerned having not heard anything from you for a while. I always look forward to your insight and knowledge regarding our journeys thru life. Living life on our own terms has recently become especially true for me. 3 weeks ago I had my bottom surgery. Gender dysphoria turned instantly into gender euphoria. My already high expectations were far exceeded. It’s truly a medical miracle . I told my surgeon that it almost seems like all she really did was to uncover what was already there. None of the discomfort I heard so much about.… Read more »
Hi Tonya, Thank you for you kind and thoughtful words, and know that I am in good health and the same high spirit and joy as always. That is wonderful news which makes me very happy that you have reached such a high point in your life and wish you the happiest and most fulfilled life to come. For myself, I’ve become involved in other projects outside of the site that have taken in new directions, that simply feel the right things for me at this time, and why I have been less present here My perception and senses of… Read more »
Sophie Glad to hear you’re doing well and found a more effective way to express your thoughts and wisdom. Best of luck and please make sure that we will have access to your videos. Would love to see them. Sorry to hear your grs wasn’t able to go as planned. Hopefully you will come to terms with the disappointment. At 67 I have to admit that I asked myself what the point of doing the surgery was. As I’m sure we all do I researched all I could find pertaining to what can be expected from doing this procedure and… Read more »
Hi Tonya, I wish to make it very clear that I am in a very good place now. Even after spending a few years battling the system here to get to that point of not accepting the procedure, Any dysphoria disappeared the sameday I made the choice to live my live correctly. At 69 the likely hood of any sexual relationship is the far less of an important factor in my life. I would welcome a companion nevertheless. If I had accepted the operation, I am not certain that it would have changed my feelings in that respect. It would… Read more »

Dear Jake, Thank you so much for your kind comment. It is always heart warming when someone resonates with my writing, especially here. My words, thoughts and writing come with a sincerity and a truth, based on my own life and experiences.
