The gift of voice

What we see through our eyes is like watching a silent movie, images received as frequencies of light that allow us to perceive colour, shape, size and distance. We add a soundtrack to that movie of life with the immense range of sounds that we hear. Detecting frequencies by the vibrations created in our inner ear which we interpret as their sources from birds, thunder, conversation, or whatever we sense in that way. Imagine for a moment, if we could see sound and understand it, but not hear it as we do, but sensing it through our vision. That could be such a confusing image of what we can already see, but with an overlay of all sounds seen in their natural waveform intermingled within that image.

The one thing that sets us apart from any other species on this planet is the gift of voice, enhanced through words and speech. A gift that can be used in many languages, to record events and information to express our feelings and thoughts that become a reference for ourselves and future observers, and in a way in which we have created beliefs, perceptions and subsequently our reality.  A correct understanding of words requires the application of a degree of morality in their use, meaning and intention.

I recently came across a recording of a lecture by a psychiatrist, the late Manly P Hall, whose books, lectures and ideas can be found today, and extraordinarily relevant in so many ways right now. One particular lecture was on the theme of ‘The Use and Misuse of Language’. For some time, I have had an understanding of the power of words and language, more recently discovering so many incredible ideas, concepts, theories and evidence that take my thoughts further, exploring a seemingly never-ending road.

When I am triggered in this way, I research into whatever comes into my life and find myself led towards more and more sources and references in what sometimes feels like an automated event, as if they have simply been waiting for me to find them! The coincidence is too frequent to be much more than just that! The more sources I learn about, the more I acquire random energy from each, which in turn attracts another; before long I have a new perspective on things that bring me to write and share this.

As I finished the last sentence, it occurred to me that I am living that event at this moment in time, using words to express that energy, learning and understanding, a new view of a previous collection of data that re-emerges with my interpretation of a newly connected array of signals and thoughts.

The most profound piece of knowledge that has come from my exploration of words and language, is how it can make the difference between good or bad health in us all, and has been scientifically proven and easily found by simple research. How every word and thought we use has an effect on us and every other. A potential of adding to a cumulative and growing volume of positive or negative energy, words that have a good or bad meaning, well-intentioned or a badly intentioned use of words; an energy signature that remains for eternity, with a cause and effect implication from the use of any single word. Imagine how this could become a powerful force in our world and universe, to create harmony or discord among humanity on every level imaginable by their use in greater number and repetition. I can immediately see potential evidence of this possibility in existence today.

Without true understanding

We use words as a reference to how we describe things, without the need to know or really understand what each word describes. We can know what it is when we use the word ‘carrot’, but nothing more than it is a vegetable. It does not tell us what it is.  That approach may not be the most powerful way of communicating ever used by a civilization on this planet. In ancient history we know they used symbols to describe things and presented them in a simple graphic form. In hieroglyphs, for example, having the ability to provide an idea or concept by the use of a simple image. These existed long before the use of language as we know it today, and possibly the forerunner to present language. Symbols that, perhaps held more power than a single word.

There are 32 ancient symbols that have been used across the world, irrespective of their geographic discovery location. More recently, cave images and symbols have been found, revealing a new and quite different set of symbols, never seen before. Perhaps better described as ideograms.

The way that I am observing words and language being employed by many, but with a focus on those with responsibilities for humanity and society, on global, national and local levels, is highly questionable when reviewed with this broader view; an understanding of the incredible power of words and language in how can they convey, create, or crush hope or fear.

It feels as if the visibility of the cause of why the world is in chaos now has become more apparent, as the narrative which is thrust into the public domain, via every source of media, has affected the masses in a hypnotic way. It is as if free-thinking and independence have suffered, while a willingness has evolved to encourage some to surrender personal responsibility and freedom to a minority, whose interests are not viewed to be mine or many others.

The use of language in relation to our health care and treatment is as much in question as any other area and use. A diagnosis itself can build hope for recovery and improvement or deny it. I have become aware of reported death in a case where hope was not given, but bleak and painful demise was implied. Much the same as if you were told that any recovery was not possible through conventional medicines and treatments.

Evidence is mounting in cases of healing taking place without medication or surgery, in some case where conventional medicine has no answers. These healing events are created by ordinary people whose only claim is to offer a positive and loving intention to heal an individual. A method that has a higher rate of success than any manufactured medication. Healing created in a natural way and that has been recorded as an almost instant effect. The giver of the healing intention can also benefit from this action in addition to the receiver of intention.

The placebo effect is one that baffled doctors and scientist in understanding how healing was possible. Could it be that the mind is all that is required to create healing? How could this be?

Recent studies and carefully monitored experiments covered in the book The Power of Eight by Lynne McTaggart, who was aided by respected scientists, and participants worldwide, who produced effects and outcomes that defy conventional explanation or science. People were having nothing short of miraculous events in the recovery from all types of illness and or sickness. She describes that the mind is free to traverse the world and affect anyone or anything. Healings that are brought about simply by the power of collective thought, connected with a loving, caring and giving intention to consciously heal another.

Could words, language and speech be the essence of our creativity to invite and bring into our reality, precisely those things that we vocalize and think about, subsequently creating this world?

A need for re-education

I am left with a new view of the use of words, language and speech; that they require a completely revised method and comprehension of teaching children and the re-education of adults, in their understanding and use of this gift and power that we are blessed with. This is not an option that needs to be considered, but a vital and key component in humanity becoming reconnected with life and the universe, to restore a balance to this world and avoid future brushes with possibilities of an extinction event for us all. A key component in our evolution as a species to rise above our present understanding and knowledge of our individual and collective potential, power and ability, to consciously create our better future.

I have witnessed by my own life adventure, the power words have had to alter the course of my life. Words spoken out loud or even simply heard in the mind as one reads, the power of words to create is incredible.

I have healed illness in my body with a change of story in my mind. We create our world with our words; I practice the life skill of choosing them wisely, most of the time hehe

Namaste’ sweet soul
