Hello Emily. It was good to read your trans history and see how common a lot of our childhoods are. And I usually write longer introductions so don’t think yours is too long. 🙂. I am feeling better about myself these days and so I am working to shorten mine.  You transitioned at a younger age than I was able to so give yourself time to make all the changes you need. Times were different when I was young; being gay and trans was illegal in the states and adults were put in jail for it. As a child in 1961 I was sent to aversion therapy but trans kids were either sent there or sent to mental institutions. Yes, times are definitely getting better but we are fighting to keep from having rights taken away from us now. Trump has to go. A large part of his base has become the bigoted evangelical leaders who have sold their soul to the devil. Anyway welcome and enjoy.
