The Palm Springs Air Museum is a living history museum dedicated to educating the public about the role Air Power played in preserving American liberties and way of life. The Museum preserves, exhibits, and flies aircraft from World War Two, Korean War, Vietnam War and the Global War on Terror. A good portion of the aircraft in the collection are in flyable condition. In addition to flyable and static aircraft, the Museum uses permanent and temporary exhibits, related artifacts, artwork, and library sources to perpetuate American History. As a transgender lead mental health organization, we know how important it is to find mental health clinicians who are affirmative and well versed in working with the transgender and non-binary community. Created by a licensed transgender therapist, the TransPower Project provides completely free virtual mental health sessions to clients in CA. We are funded by a county grant in order to stay free. All of our therapists are trained and certified in affirmative therapy and have the ability to write gender affirmation letters when needed. Insurance is not needed as we are a free service. Queer works is a 501c (3) organization with headquarters in the Coachella Valley. While we work out of CV, thanks to telehealth we are able to serve individuals all across California. Our mission is to ameliorate disparities faced by transgender, gender non-binary and intersex people as well as help reduce similar disparities among our lesbian, gay and bisexual communities. Common disparities include homelessness, joblessness, mental health and medical challenges, higher rates of suicide, and higher rates of poverty. Common causes of these disparities include discrimination in housing, employment and healthcare, risk of community violence, family rejection, stigma and religious rejection. Open Listing

Grand Central opened in May of 2018 after extensive renovations to the previous Palm Springs Institution, Desmond’s Department Store.
