Dr. Michele Boberg, a Ball State University graduate, began to provide counseling services at Associates in Behavioral Counseling in 2003 and is a co-owner of the practice. Prior to ABC, she provided therapy services to non-profit organizations for 15 years. As the clinic grew, other behavioral health providers with various professional degrees, licenses, and specialties joined the practice to provide a wide range of counseling services. Muncie OUTreach’s mission is to provide an accepting environment to enhance the personal growth of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth in the Delaware County area. We provide programming for LGBTQ youth, as well as advocate for community awareness and acceptance of young people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Laura and her husband Jeff are Muncie natives who founded OUTreach in 2012. They have one son, Matt, who came out as gay when he was twelve years old. When: Every Tuesday at 6pm Where: 2nd floor of the Muncie YWCA Finding Spirit is a support group for trans and gender non-conforming individuals to gather and share resources and life experiences. Those aged 20+ are welcome. The group works to support proper information, resource-sharing, and inclusion for trans people. Open Listing
