What started out as a dream for We Are Family has now become a reality. It all began on Friday January 15th, 2016 when WAF hosted its first “Closet Case” Pop up thrift shop at Jericho, Inc. Proceeds from the pop-up benefited WAF’s mission of providing direct support services and leadership development opportunities for gender and sexual minors you through diverse programing. The start of this social enterprise was the catalyst for raising funds to launch a permanent thrift store and center that serves LGBTQI+ and straight ally youth in the Lowcountry.
