The way I feel, is, if someone doesn’t like me, it ain’t my problem, it’s theirs. And it’s none of my business what anyone thinks of me. Trans people, hell, all LGBTQ people need to adopt this attitude.
You are not defined by other people. YOU define yourself. I think you may have come to the right place, at least I hope so. There may be some very helpful, insightful opinions expressed here.
I’m sorry you had to experience this, but if you don’t let it get you down, it will make you stronger, smarter.
Something of a similar nature happened to me early in transition, and I wound up quickly ditching both of the people (Trans) who were doing it. They were dishonest, and they were bullies. Who needs them?
