I don’t see an issue using grandma or grandpa because that’s the way you feel toward your personal self of gender expression for you and how you would like to be addressed , it goes both ways whether your a grandparent or a grandchild  – it appears that Hospital’s are now starting to use ” Assigned Gender ” on there paper work and not the old standard being born a boy or girl physically so officially thereby giving that baby a chance to choose who they feel they are on there own naturally later in life – XO – Krystal

I would talk to your children and find out what they are comfortable with that’s what I did. And my grandchildren call me grandma.
