With over 20 years in the field of behavioral health and addictions, my goal is to help you achieve balance and well-being at your pace. My specialty is working with transgender individuals, spiritual connections with a lifestyle of recovery. I believe that everyone has the right to express their authentic self and reach their full potential as human beings. I provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults who are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, crisis, trauma utilizing relaxation techniques, stress management, spirituality or other challenges of daily living. I have been enthusiastically and passionately involved in the healthcare field for over 25 years and graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine (now known as National University of Natural Medicine) in Portland, Oregon with High Honors. I am a nationally certified (NCCAOM) Diplomate of Acupuncture and am licensed by the Oregon Medical Board. In addition to acupuncture, I have extensive training and experience with Western and Chinese herbal medicine, as well as nutrition and dietary counseling. Dr. Wegleitner’s practice specializes and focuses on caring for transgender patients. Dr. Wegleitner grew up in west Texas. She attended Baylor University for College and subsequently obtained her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Residency training then brought her to Denver but Colorado won her heart and she stayed to practice medicine. Dr. Wegleitner founded Mountain View Family Medicine in 1992. She is honored to know that many patients for whom she cared during her training years, followed her into private practice and remain patients still.
